Unlike general farm games, players in
FarmStory don’t need to grow vegetable, feed livestock, or build farm here. It’s
a totally different game and the only similarity should be the background. There
are four independent games which are easy to handle but hard to quit. It is a game above the price in value.
The first game
just likes its name – cast, players only need to cast vegetable into the basket
of the other side. However, if you want to get higher score and level, cast is
not enough. Pay little attention to the top of the screen where states a
particular vegetable, higher score will be given when the same one is thrown
in. Also don’t let your vegetable hit bomb or it will turn into a bomb. Some
clocks run here and there, cast them and you will be given additional time.
The second part
originates from the classic match game but is mixed with new features. Such as
freeze the running screen via a frozen vegetable, drop all identical vegetable
in the screen through a star, or get more score through a purse. But the same
dangerous guy - bomb is hidden here, click away from it.
Game three is a
little bit like the first one. The role you can control is not vegetable but the
basket. Drag the basket back and forth to catch the lively vegetable. The
basket will become bigger when catching a green football while smaller with a
red football. Upgrade your basket by a peanut and explode it with a bomb if you
want to suicide.
The last game prepared for players is a
gambling machine. Bet on any vegetable you like to see if you lose money won
from other games or double them.
Through touching the screen, it’s
immediately apparent that this game is absolutely gorgeous. The level of detail
in the animated backgrounds, the human-like vegetable, and just everything is
